NOTE: It is best not to use soap when washing wool blankets. The blanket will retain much of the soap (even soaps made specifically for wool). When the blanket becomes wet with sweat, the residual soap may seep throughout the very porous wool, and irritate a horse's back. After a few washings, the color will of course begin to fade. This has no bearing on the usefulness of the blanket in serving its true purpose. You might find that you prefer an older, faded, soft blanket next to your horse's back. After all, the concept is to protect your horse's back and keep them comfortable.

Very nice. Liked the extra little material under our big skirt saddle

This is a great solid color show pad. The larger size gives full coverage of the under pad plus an outline of color if your saddle has a longer skirt. I liked the first pad (white) so much I purchased a second pad in black.

Advertised as a PAD but its really a blanket. It is a nice blanket and I'm sure I will use it, but it is not as advertised!

This pad was recommended to match the shirt I bought. The color match was great!

Great blanket, holds its shape, good size as it covers the under pad.
