St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures and means of prevention for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Dreams on Horseback

The mission of Dreams on Horseback is enriching lives with horses.  They have many programs, but their core program is working with children and adults with special needs to tackle their individual challenges from atop one of their kind and gentle therapy horses. Trained and certified instructors use engaging activities and games to encourage their students to solve problems, face fears, and complete physical tasks. Students are assisted by supportive side-walkers and a horse handler as they grow in competence.  Learn more here.

Marmon Valley Farm

Marmon Valley Farm/Ministries is an non-denominational Christian camp, retreat facility, and riding stable committed to providing wholesome farm fun for all ages.  Horsemanship experiences make up a large portion of the camp structure. Campers are placed in the appropriate horseback riding classes based on their riding experience and age. Within the context of learning horsemanship skills, many opportunities arise for ministry. Horsemanship classes allow for teachable moments where the class may see spiritual truth illustrated.  Learn more here.
