About Kimes Ranch

With a vision to create the perfect pair of jeans for the western world, Matt and Amanda Kimes founded Kimes Ranch in 2009. Their mission was to fill a gap in the market with fashionable, high-quality western jeans. They meticulously sourced every aspect of their production, assembling a top-notch team of cutters, sewers, and washers to ensure their jeans offered the best fit and quality. For women, they created a jean that provided ample coverage while riding and had a low rise to emulate trendy street jeans. For men, they incorporated unique features like a knife pocket and improved back pocket placement for added functionality and style. One of the first styles they introduced was the Betty.

At the time, their designs were noticeably different from the jeans that were being produced by everyone else. They offered higher-rise, slimmer fits with darker washes, a contrast to the trends of low-rise, overly processed women’s jeans and baggy men’s jeans. Their bold decision to innovate paid off, establishing Kimes Ranch as the go-to brand it is today.
