By RachelThese are a great pair of spurs, I really love them and they work for what I bought them for...western pleasure. The only problem with them is, after I was done riding, I had to feed the horses, it was rainy and muddy and I had forgotten to take my spurs off. Within the next few days I noticed them beginning to rust! So I took them home and used a tooth brush and toothpaste and scrubbed them to death, it worked(If you do this, make sure they are completely dry, do not let them air dry or rust will come back). I will not wear them in the rain ever again! The only other CON to them was they were a little large on my boot, so they rest on the heel instead of right above it! I would recommend this spur to the avid shower.
