By CruiserI cannot recommend buying this saddle, nor any other from Rods. This saddle was a huge disappointment from the moment I removed it from the box. The condition the saddle was in was totally unacceptable. It was so "shop worn" it looked used. It had a big scratch across the leather seat. It had dings and scuff marks all over it. And it's general appearance was "worn". It did not even have an original tag on it. It had obviously been sitting around the tack shop or warehouse for a long time, too by the accumulated dust in the leather tooling. Over all this saddle was pretty beat up and I was surprised it was sent in the first place. I returned the saddle purely for that reason. It was also incredibly to ride in, but that really didn't matter due to its the beat up condition. This was an exchange for another saddle I purchased and returned. When it came to issuing the refunds, it took weeks to get them, always with an excuse. I will not be a repeat customer.
