Comments about Weatherbeeta Freestyle Spotty Fly Sheet
I use these daily in "bug season" and switched to Weatherbeeta last summer when I found a sale. My horses loved them, and seemed more comfortable in these than the Kensington fly sheets they had been using. The fit is much better, and are easier to travel with as well (packable). Also, I can perform any repairs myself (the fabric is lightweight but durable, she caught it on something but it was an easy fix). Love the belly cover, and no issues with it for the geldings. Only trouble is that the material does stain with manure and mud, but rinses right off and washes out easily. These do better washed on gentle cycle in a front load washer with very mild soap, rather than powerwashing. I wasn't a fan of the pattern on this one, but like the blanket enough that the function wins over fashion. Also, they do not rub out hair over the withers, and the lining prevents any rubbing on the chest and tail. Definitely a fan, and will be replacing my heavy fly blankets with Weatherbeeta.
