The Simple Boot is a multi-purpose hoof boot. Great for the barefoot horse and also provides comfort for chronic pain, hoof sensitivity and helps with rehabilitation from injuries, abscesses, navicular disease, laminitis/founder, punctures, sole bruising and contracted heels. Adds protection during trailering and breeding and works great as a "spare tire" when a shoe is lost. Features: simple front fastening with industrial grade Velcro® brand closures. Genuine leather upper is comfortable and flexible; mould-in back flap for bulb protection and abrasion resistance; durable construction using waterproof thread, rustproof metal and high performance TPU outsole. Softee leather foam-filled collar. Outside tread pattern supports the hoof wall. All-terrain tread minimizes build-up of mud, sand and debris. Excellent traction while still allowing natural movement. Center of outsole is recessed to minimize pressure.

my mare has hard feet and will seldom need them except perhaps in winter. I like the simplicity and ease of application. A little loose around pasterns but will add leg wraps

Comments about Set Of 2 Cavallo Simple Boots

I've had these boots for 5-6 years for 2 different horses and I think the fit has been very good on both horses that have worn the same pair. I have done distance in them--5-10-15 miles and challenging terrain. It it just now after two horses and many, many, many, many and then some more hours of use that I am just considering a new pair. I am very happy with how these boots have held up. Although, I must mention that I do not use them every ride, so they have had some vacations while I have had them, but for the hours they have been used I am pleased and would recommend! Endurance riders should not expect a pair to last as long as mine have--I only use on barefoot horses and mine have transitioned in and out of traditional shoes.ha-ha had to add the date night since for whatever reason it was a check box and I thought it was funny!!

Comments about Set Of 2 Cavallo Simple Boots

I use this product to protect my Paint horses shod front feet. Although they are not recommended for a shod horse, I have fitted him with the shoes on and find that the Cavallo boots protect him from loosing front shoes in between shoeings. I have saved alot of money in expensive shoeing over the years and kept my horse from hoof damage from pulled shoes.
