I bought this for my barrel mare after using my old neoprene professional choice girth for years (8 and it held up beautifully) as it was due for retirement and I thought she would like a wool girth a little better. It, so far, lives up to the professiona's choice standard, fits her well and the saddle doesn't slip anymore with it than it does with the neoprene one. She is also less cinchy with it. My previous horse was gelding who didn't have these issues! I like it and so does my girl! Good buy.
