Bought this rug to go in a newly remodeled living room. We just put in hand scraped western heart pine floors and thought the cowhide would be the perfect touch.It matches the leather furniture and goes with the flooring and decor perfectly! You won't be disappointed.There was one very small place on the rug that the hair was shorter than the rest but classifying that as a "unique characteristic" of the specific hide and not a fault.
